H was playing with C by shining the cat's laser pointer (the infamous red dot) so C could chase it. H made the dot run over by the stairs, so C quickly followed it. I yelled, "No! Not by the stairs," so C walked over and closed the stairway gate so she wouldn't fall.
Wow. Could it be...one of MY children with COMMON SENSE??
Ah - but then again, she was chasing the cat's laser pointer...
